This is my Father’s school  leaving certificate – 1918 . Incidently his oldest brother, Walter Porter was a veteran of WW1 and awarded the Military Medal. He is buried in Durham Road Cemetry having died in 1918 from wounds sustained in the war.Photograph and details courtesy of M Bohl. |
