I ran dances for the local Spastic support group at local schools and Bill Aitkenhead was always ready to support the charity by running a bar for the drinks at no charge and always supplied me with a bottle of whiskey to raffle. A very kind and helpful gentleman. Lily Gilbert was also a person our family knew, Margaret, because my mother Alice also worked for the Provi.

  2. It is indeed outside the Oxbridge Hotel with landlord Bill Aitkenhead.T he lady faright is Lily Gilbert who worked for the provident & the lady behind Bill with the glasses is Jenny Dixon wholived in Alexander Street, Oxbridge.
