  1. Just to put a spanner in the works regarding prices of the Stockton totems. I sold mine about 5 years ago at Sheffield Railway Auctions for just a few quid short of £3000! We had a good holiday that year!

  2. Gilly Butler: The genuine original totem shaped railway signs do come up for auction and the current price seems to be around £600, though there are very big variations according to the location, some being very much sought after and one selling for a record £8000 plus! Whether there might be a Stockton sign available is another matter. It is also possible to purchase replica signs from specialist suppliers who will produce one according to your requirements.

  3. Mr Marshall I have seen your Stockton station totem and wondered if there were any more available that you may know of. My father will be 70 this year and something like this would be a brilliant gift for him. He lived in Norton Green until the early 60s and he is MAD on trains! Hope you can help. Regards Gilly Butler

  4. You may like to know that this bit of the old Stockton station still exists in my railwayana collection. This sign would have been removed c1970.
