  1. This photo must have been taken in the early fifties or before, John (Pedlar) Palmer’s welding bench is not there on the right hand side, the bogey in the left foreground was to transfer jobs from the Machine Shop to the Fitting shop or vice versa.


  2. This is the Fitting Shop before the offices were built at the top of the shop & before Bob Irwin’s joinery squad built the work benches. The Light Machine Shop was the other side of the Machine Shop.
