Stockton Football Club

Taken around the end of the First World War. My grandfather George Bradley Brookes is on the front row, 2nd from the right. The goalkeeper was Police Constable Peart.

Photograph and details courtesy of Peter Brookes.

  1. Constable Peart became a Detective in Stockton.I can remember him he always wore leggings. I think the player, first right on the front row would be Marky Pass, later trainer C.1950,s. He was an amateur international. Lived in Eldson St.opposite Victoria Ground.
